The tour will kick off in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 14, at the Shrine Expo Hall. YO GABBA GABBA! LIVE: THERE’S A PARTY IN MY CITY will also appear at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Saturday, November 21, and the Rosemont Theatre outside of Chicago on Saturday, December 5.  There will be two shows in each city — in LA and Chicago they will be held at 11 AM and 3 PM and in NY 11 AM and 2PM.

Summer Finale, Guest-Starring Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager),

TNT has added two episodes to the summer run of its hit series LEVERAGE, starring Academy Award® winner Timothy Hutton (Ordinary People), Gina Bellman (Coupling), Christian Kane (TNT’s Into the West), Beth Riesgraf (Alvin and the Chipmunks) and Aldis Hodge (Friday Night Lights). The summer finale, guest-starring Star Trek: Voyager’s Jeri Ryan in a new recurring role as Tara, a grifter who helps the team out, will air Wednesday, Sept. 9.

SAVING GRACE will wrap up with a nine-episode run planned for next summer. The series follows as she investigates brutal crimes while also trying to find balance in her conflicted relationship with her partner, Ham (Kenneth Johnson – The Shield), whose grief she helped soothe after the death of his brother in Afghanistan. Grace also has to deal with her unconventional last-chance angel, Earl (Leon Rippy – Deadwood), whose interaction and occasional interference in her life is, according to him, all part of some master plan that even he doesn’t fully understand.

In this summer’s episodes, Earl has worked to create a connection between Grace and a young addict named Neely (Yaani King – The Prince & Me), whose life may eventually be in Grace’s hands. While trying to figure out Earl’s plans, Grace has also provided firm support for her best friend, criminalist Rhetta Rodriguez (Laura San Giacomo – Just Shoot Me), who is emotionally despondent over losing her family home and catching her husband in an affair.

Grace’s circle also includes her admiring nephew, Clay (Dylan Minnette – Prison Break); her boss and friend, Kate Perry (Lorraine Toussaint – Any Day Now); and her fellow detectives, Butch Ada (Bailey Chase – Las Vegas) and Bobby Stillwater (Gregory Cruz – Criminal Minds).

For its first season in 2007, SAVING GRACE ranked as ad-supported cable’s #1 new series of the year in delivery of viewers and households. Over its three seasons to date, the show has averaged 4.1 million viewers. This summer, SAVING GRACE has performed well among DVR users, scoring 33% growth among viewers and 34% growth among adults 25-54 when comparing Live to Live + 7 deliveries.

I am really excited for the second season of Leverage. Sharker is going to ROCK!

I don’t think I’ve got any shows in my queue until July.

I’m planning on doing some different things in the interim – reviewing DVD collections, longer critical pieces on some older shows, maybe doing a deep critical breakdown of Burn Notice as I write a new spec episode – but that’s not going to fill the week. Kari’s going to be done with BSG soon and that’ll just leave us with her excellent Flight of the Conchords reviews unless she feels some love for anything else on the air. And Tawnya is still mourning Dirty Sexy Money, I think.

We want to engage more people in a conversation about TV, at least the TV we care about. What that means is that I’m not going to ever write a review about Survivor. I don’t watch it; it doesn’t interest me. But it probably interests one of our other writers (they’re coming, I swear.) So someone is likely to write about a show you love.

Hell, I think we’ve even got someone who wants to write about Two and a Half Men. And not just write about it, but attempt to convince us it’s a great comedy. (She may be right. The kid just creeps me out.)

Look at the top menu: discussions, interviews, live blogs, and reviews. And absolutely no content yet. But just watch over the next few days and weeks as we start filling it in. But more to the point, what do those categories mean?

• Discussions: A lot of shows, they just don’t need recaps or reviews. But people want to talk about them. Shows like 30 Rock, or How I Met Your Mother, or Heroes seem like good candidates for this. Sure, we could give you a Heroes recap, but why try to do what TWOP already does better? Instead, how about a place to talk about the shows with like-minded (and hopefully less snarky) people? When your favorite show is finished, we’d like this to be the first place you go to talk about it. We might not have much to say beyond “that was awesome…what did you think?” but that just leaves more room for your thoughts.
• Interviews: I like writers. A lot. I am a writer, even if the IRS and my employer would tell you otherwise. I like to talk to writers. A lot. So expect me to do that here. And since the other contributors suffer from similar urges and desires, expect them to as well. If we’re at all successful, this should become the best place on the web to read interviews with television writers.
• Live Blogs: Similar to the Discussions category, but in real-time. We’re going to have some good candidates for live blogging coming up in the next month with the remaining debates and election night coverage. We’re going to play around with some ways of doing this in real-time and would like you to join in the fun.
• Reviews: Sometimes we’re going to actually have something to say. Sometimes it’ll be a basic recap and sometimes it’ll be more analytical.

Alright. That’s all I’ve got to say about our “mission”. I’d also warn you that you should expect things to change a lot around here – layout, functionality, look and feel, content – as we go forward. Honestly? I built this site in a weekend and it’s not very polished. But it will be, and we hope you’ll stay around while we build it into something really interesting.

Please, please, please leave comments of the constructive or critical kind. We’re all tired of sites that are silent, where it feels like no one is involved. That is not what we want it to be like around here.
