I've heard that we aren't alone. One guy on twitter told me he had felt the same way. The previews held no interest for him. For some reason, I never watched Samantha Who? even though I always meant to.

I'm another person who heard about the premise of Worst Week, wondered how a series could sustain it and ultimately decided not to check it out. It came down to choosing either Worst Week or Samantha Who as I was still DVR'ing/watching Heroes every week hoping the show would turn the corner and improve (which is another story in itself). I went with Samantha Who on the DVR only because I had seen its brief first season which had some very funny moments and an enduring performance by Christina Applegate (granted the front nine episodes were far better than the strike-shortened back six). But in retrospect, with Samantha Who essentially spinning its wheels in the plot department this season, I guess I should have DVR'd Worst Week instead as I’m always on the look out for a really good, laugh out loud type of sitcom. D’oh!
