I how Emerson Cod has become less money focused from Season 1. He is forming more of a relationship with Ned than a business arrangement. I'm so sad, yet another witty and wonderful show gone :(

I've mentioned this before, but Pushing Daisies really popped when Olive became regularly involved in the MoW. It's the best acting foursome on television. Every episode, from "Bad Habits" forward, that has included Ned, Chuck, Emerson and Olive investigating has been great. You gotta give a huge amount of credit to Kristin Chenoweth for turning in a consistently pitch perfect performance this entire season (and kudos as well to Bryan Fuller for expanding her role).

I also recognized Ivana Milicevic, but couldn't place where I'd most recently seen her. After looking at IMDB, I found it... a brilliant episode of House MD titled "House's Head" that aired in late May. Although it was a very small part, it was an incredibly memorable episode.

Yeah, Chenowith hit so many notes so perfectly. Chirpy, sly, angry, disappointed. She found the perfect role. :(

Kristin Chenoweth outdid herself last night. That whole little scene with her joining the Norwegians (from the country of "Norwegia") was a prime nugget of fine comic acting, and what puts her over the top is that she uses her whole self to do it -- voice, face, body, one complete itty bitty package of genius. I used to truly not like her as an actress; now she's the one I'll miss the most.

Plus: GEORGE HAMILTON! So brilliant, but it makes me even sadder for what could have been and will never be. And I would not have thought that possible.
